So I think I'm really suppose to be Shin or something because everything technological I touch DIES. ;A;

A couple pf months ago I broke my memory card. A piece broke off halfway or something. Not that big a deal, I could still use it so long as I didn't mess with it much.

Yeah, it broke today. I tried taking it out of my camera in order to replace it with a new one and the little piece finally broke off and got stuck in the camera. Awesome. So I try pulling it out with a little metal wire thing and I managed to get it out and everything but when I tried putting in the new card it wouldn't go in. You know how it's suppose to click and stay in place? It doesn't do that. I push it in and it just kind of pops back up.

That camera was a gift and now I'm sad and I want to cry and damn iiiit I should not have touched it.

Not to mention my tablet is like...not functioning well. I try using the pencil tool and it gives me the little hand or it won't let me draw and I don't know.

Daaaaaaaamn it.

...So yeah. How was your New Years? We didn't do anything, really. Mom seemed kind of depressed. I think because Elizabeth's in California and Amanda went to a New Years party. We didn't even have a dinner or anything, which kind of sucked. Everyone went to sleep at 10:00 so I was alone during the countdown. It was actually kind of sad. D: ...Yeah, until Victoria kidnapped me to her house. I ended up having a shot of tequila (one plz, I wasn't about to start the new year drunk, 'specially not at someone else's house) and some cranberry and vodka drink. Her brothers are uh, interesting when drinking. xDD; We ended up going to White Castle at like 5:00 a.m. to get some breakfast.

HOLY SHIT. We got a 93 on our group presentation for Spanish. How fucking awesome is that? The actual head of the Spanish committee was there grading us too. She left individual comments for each person in our group and she wrote that I was very natural and spoke clearly to the audience. SHE SAID I DID A GREAT JOB.

Seriously, I don't know how that happened. I was nervous as fuck and was shaking the whole time and just wanted to puke (no joke no joke) and just. Wow. Wow.

I really hope I get a B in that class. Cs are nice and all--oh wait, they aren't. D: I just wanna do well, fuuuck. I guess I should actually study this time, haha... >.>;

Oh, and you know what's stupid? I had to change the font on my Spanish paper from 12 to 11 so I could fit everything in under 3 pages since apparently the teacher doesn't want us to go past 3 D: WTF, I'm writing a proposal to combat hate crimes, I think I need more than 3 fucking pages, lady.

HI EVERYONE. TOMORROW IS MY LAST DAY OF CLASSES AND THEN I HAVE FINALS NEXT WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. AFTER THAT I AM FREE FOR ONE ENTIRE MONTH <3 FUCK YES.

Things have been moving along pretty quickly, I'm so happy~ I just have to finish a blackboard assignment and my final composition for Spanish and seven online math assignments and...that's it homework-wise! aksdlkjalkjdlasd

Oh, I got a A on my math test. I can't believe that ;A; I was so happy I almost started crying. Victoria helped me study A LOT. Without her I would have failed, haha. <3

OH OH! I also got an A on that Don't-Drop-The-Soap paper~ Hahaha, I feel awesome right now.

Uhh, what else? Oh, right. We had a Spanish test Wednesday and while we were taking it, out Prof. was walking around the class looking over students' tests. She got to me and I got nervous because I could just feel her standing there, y'know? I looked up all panicky and confused and the teacher just sort of patted/scratched my head. She also hugged me once our presentation was over. I guess I still looked pretty nervous even after everything was done with. I'm not use to teachers hugging me but I was nervous and the hug was appreciated. I'm amused at the fact that she's going to be my professor for Spanish 212.

ToraDora is so cute >: I really like Taiga and Ryuuji...just not together D: I mean, I like how dorky they are towards their respective crushes and...I don't know. I'd rather they not fall in love with each other (pffft. of course that's a given). I'm on episode 4 right now and I'm totally set on cosplaying Ryuuji, haha.

Dad's a big homophobe. He sat down next to me threatening to fart in order to get me to leave the t.v. to him but I just told him we'd watch Brokeback Mountain. Oh man. I took a three hour nap after coming home from work. I rarely take naps (maybe...7 since high school?) and so...I feel awesome. I'm still pretty tired but just not like before |D; Only problem is I keep thinking it's like 5 a.m. or something and should be getting my ass ready for school D:

Ohhh right. I cut my hair Saturday. It's...uh. Huh. I asked to thin it out since my hair was starting to devour my entire head, and the lady went nuts. About half my hair is gone and it makes me so sad. ;A; Plus my head's cold now. Uhhh. Well, it'll grow back soon enough.

HEY. This whole 'Christmas card' dealy seems kind of cool. Would you guys like one from me? I'm gonna try to make them by scratch so the front will prolly have a drawing on it. Welp, I just turned in my assignment online to this place called safeassign...and uh, being the total genius that I am, I forgot to rename the file.

So dad's back. He looks alright, all things considered. I just hope he stays that way...

Also, I went in for advising today. I have all the classes that I'm registering for next semester:

- Spanish 204: Extensive Reading and Writing (3 hrs)
- Spanish 210: Introduction to the formal analysis of Hispanic Texts (3 hrs)
- Spanish 206: Introduction to Hispanic Linguistics (4 hrs)
- Japanese 102 (4 hrs)

Total hours: 17

It...it's weird. I think I finally realized that I'm really going to major in Spanish linguistics. I mean, when I declared my major I figured I could just change it like I did all those other times, but now that I'm actually registering for the classes...

Wow. I feel so...blank. I hope everything goes well for me. And you all, too. I know I'm not the only one worrying about this stuff. ;A;

Still gonna see if I can try to study abroad...maybe next year or something? I keep saying I will but I never end up going through with it, lol. I'm afraid I'll die with the workload or get crazy lost somewhere, offend some stranger or just...not fit in at all with the other students (I'm like that now but at least I have people here...if I study abroad I'll like...be by myself D: ) Haha, plus it's crazy expensive... You don't know how happy I am. He called, sounding so excited when he told me. I nearly cried right then. I'm so happy for him, so so happy. Mom had told me they weren't going to let him out yet (he was scheduled to leave Tuesday) because his blood was too thin. I figured he'd never get out but he really is! So I lent my anthropology notes to someone yesterday. This was bad on my part since we have a test on Friday and I need those notes to study (yeah, I was actually planning on studying this time), but she said she'd call today and return them.

I still don't have my notes.

I waited the entire day for her to call. I stayed on campus and everything (given, I decided to go to work today since Santhi wasn't in but still, damn it!). So now I'm behind on my study schedule and am so angry at her. SHIT.

So help me, if she tells me she text messaged me or something I will punch her in the nose, which by the way, is medial to her ears. See? I'm studying right now! Anyway, people should learn to CALL. I fucking hate text messages. DX

Oh but but something interesting just happened.

A few weeks ago this lady came into our Spanish class passing out these forms for people who were interested in participating in a research experiment regarding native Spanish speakers. I guess they're looking into their brainwaves to better understand how a native speaker thinks...and with that provide with better programs for them. Or something. I don't remember >.> Anyway, someone from the research group called me and after a few questions she said I was a good candidate for the experiment. Can you believe that? I might actually take part in the experiment~ Yeah, the only reason I'm excited is because I'll be getting paid for it. It's not much, but money is money is tight right now and I need moar.

We'll see how it goes, I guess.
